Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts; perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations
  • Process payroll and prepare related tax filings and reports
  • Oversee / assist staff on accounts payable and vendor payments
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Prepare the quarterly Call Report
  • Support regulatory audits and exams
  • Maintain accounting for the investment portfolio
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
  • Compile financial, Board and Directors, and ALCO reports

Job Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

2-5 years of accounting experience; banking experience preferred

Knowledge of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and payroll processes

Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Desire to work in a team culture
