Highlights from April 2026
From a classroom to a green house and making food to handing out it out, Team WSB was there for the community during April!
We started the celebration early with a Community Shred Event that ended in almost 4 full shred bins - that's approximately 1,000 pounds of paper!
Jayna, Sherry, and McKenna visited a couple classrooms in the local area to read this year’s Financial Literacy Book The Berenstain Bears – Trouble With Money. They read to a total of 84 students, and the classrooms enjoyed a coloring activity and bingo.
Ashley, Brittany, Dana, and Candice volunteered at Nourish Farms (located in Sheboygan Falls) where they toured the property and baked some muffins – featured in this month’s recipe corner.
Zoe, Beth, and Wibke also volunteered at Nourish Farms where they gardened in the greenhouse.
Lori and Karla volunteered at the Sheboygan County Food Bank drive thru where they handed out food to vehicles that came through.
Sarah, Kelly, Lynn, and Wendy all helped the Waldo Lions Club at their Annual Pork Chop Dinner where they helped with tickets and raffles.
Other team members volunteered by doing a highway clean up, and participating in community theatre.
We are proud to be apart of a community that is rooted in supporting others and providing educational and unique experiences!
