Pizza Dippers
Ingredients
- 1 loaf frozen Bread Dough
- 3 c Shredded Mozzarella
- Pizza Toppings of choice - I've used pepperoni, cooked sausage, red peppers, black olives, onions
- 3/4 c Pizza Sauce
- 3 T Butter - melted
- 1 T Garlic - minced in the jar or fresh
- 1 T Italian Seasoning
- Flour for dusting the surface
In the morning or 8-10 hours prior
- Place frozen bread dough in a greased bowl
- Cover - I spray parchment paper and place it over the bowl
- Let rise until at least double the size
Assemble
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Grease a cookie sheet
- Dust a surface with flour and roll out the bread dough until roughly 12 x 12 area - mine got a little more oblong then square - it's fine!
- Melt butter and add the garlic and Italian Seasoning, brush over the entire surface - reserving some for the tops
- Place cheese on and then any topping you are adding
- Gently roll into a log, pinching the seam
- With a serrated knife, gently cut the log into 2" slices
- Flip on the side and place on the cookie sheet - I get about 12 - 14 dippers depending on how thin it is rolled and size cut
- Brush the tops with the remaining butter
- Bake for 18 - 22 minutes until tops are lightly golden, do not over bake
- While baking, heat the pizza sauce for dipping
Serve with the dipping sauce and enjoy a fun pizza treat!
