Veterans Day Volunteering

Our team partnered with Dogs2DogTags to honor the veterans in our community. We spent the day assisting with tasks both inside and outside of the building to ensure a great experience for not only those who enter the building, but also for our four-legged friends!

Dogs2DogTags is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, training, and placing dogs with service members who have been diagnosed with post-combat stress and anxiety. They work hard to keep costs low and experience the main focus through their training scenarios and tests.

Our team divided and conquered through 3 different areas. One area was outdoors, where they raked leaves and cleaned the courtyards and outdoor kennels. The next area was indoors, which consisted of washing walls, vacuuming indoor kennels, collecting cobwebs from higher areas, and other miscellaneous cleaning throughout the building. Lastly, some of our team members stuffed hundreds of envelopes that will be sent out. Towards the end of the day, the team all gathered to finish the envelope project, took a group picture, and got to meet a couple fuzzy friends!

We thank all of our veterans in our community for their dedicated service, and to Dogs2DogTags for their dedication to our veterans and their mental health.
