Beer Breads & Beer Dip

Beer Bread & Beer Dip

Plain or Jalapeno Cheddar Breads – both recipes here!

Plain Beer Bread

  • 3 c Flour
  • 3 T Sugar
  • 1 T Baking Powder
  • 1 t Salt
  • 12 ounce Beer
  • 1/4 c Butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 8x4” bread pan.

Assemble

  • Whisk dry ingredients together in medium sized bowl
  • Pour in beer and mix well using a wooden spoon
  • Place in pan
  • Melt Butter and pour over

Bake 50 – 60 minutes until top is brown. Remove from oven, cool for 10 minutes and transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.

Jalapeno Cheese Beer Bread Modification -

  • Same recipe as above adding -
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1/3 c Pickled Jalapenos – drained and dried on paper towel – I diced mine
  • 1 1/2 c shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Add the onion & garlic powder to the dry ingredients and jalapenos and cheese at the same time as the beer. Bake as directed.

Beer Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 - 8 ounce packages Cream Cheese – softened
  • 2 c shredded Cheddar Cheese (extra for topping)
  • 1/3 c Beer (regular or non-alcoholic)
  • 1 envelope Ranch Dressing Mix

Mix all ingredients together using mix master or hand mixer until smooth. Place in bowl and sprinkle extra cheese on top.
