Grilling Season is Here!
Marinated Chicken Thighs
Ingredients:
1 Large Pack (16 count) of Skinless & Boneless Chicken Thighs
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice (juice of 1 lemon)
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Onion Powder
6 twists of salt grinder
6 twists of pepper grinder
½ cup warm water
Optional - 1 Tbs of Weber Brown Sugar Dry Rub (I use this as a rub for smoking ribs)
Prep:
1)Wisk marinade ingredients together for 5 minutes (make sure the honey is mixed thoroughly)
2) Put the Chicken Thighs in a large freezer bag and pour in the marinade
3) Marinade overnight in a refrigerator
4) Heat grill to 410 degrees and sear the thighs for 4 minutes on the first side
5) After 4 minutes, adjust heat to medium on the grill and flip the thighs. Continue cooking until reaching an internal temperature of 165F
**We like the edges to be crispy, so I cook them a little past 165F**
Note - I like to place the chicken thighs on a shallow baking pan, pour the marinade over them, cover with plastic wrap and place a second shallow baking pan on top of that. I do this for 30 minutes on each side before putting them in the freezer bag. This allows the chicken thighs to relax
